Alhamdulillah, Ireland witnessed a profound moment of unity and spiritual revival as the Annual Tablighi Ijtima 2025 was held at the renowned Ferryhouse Racecourse near Dublin. Despite being a country with a relatively small Muslim population, the scale and spirit of this gathering were truly extraordinary. Thousands of Muslims from across Pakistan, India, the middle east, across Europe and beyond came together solely for the sake of Allah, transforming a quiet corner of Ireland into a vibrant centre of faith, prayer, and brotherhood.
Over the course of three blessed days, distinctions of language, culture, and nationality faded, and the Ummah stood united, bound by the Qur’an and Sunnah. The purpose of the Ijtima was clear and profound: to remind Muslims of their responsibility to live Islam sincerely and strengthen their connection with Allah and pass on the legacy of this beautiful Deen to future generations.
Spiritual Guidance and Renewal
Respected scholars and elders delivered powerful reminders throughout the event, emphasizing the importance of Salah, Qur’an recitation, dhikr, and dedicating time and effort for the sake of Deen. They reminded attendees that true success is not measured by material wealth or numbers, but by sincerity, patience, and steadfastness in obeying Allah’s commands.
The atmosphere was deeply spiritual — hearts softened, tears flowed, and thousands renewed their intentions to live a life devoted to spreading the message of Islam. The gathering served not merely as an event, but as a transformative experience for many.
Mobilising for Da’wah
As the Ijtima concluded, numerous jamaats were formed, ready to travel across Ireland and other parts of Europe to continue the work of Da’wah. Witnessing individuals, especially youth, step forward with such commitment was both humbling and inspiring. It was a clear reminder that gatherings like these are catalysts for long-term spiritual growth and community development.
A Message of Strength in the Minority
One of the most striking aspects of this Ijtima was its scale in a country where Muslims are a minority. At a time when certain groups, such as the Qadianis (Followers of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani), often emphasise numerical strength and public displays, this gathering served as a quiet yet powerful response. It demonstrated that the vitality of Islam is not in empty claims but in sincere practice, sacrifice, and unity.
The sight of thousands of believers — especially young people — coming together for the sake of Allah was a testament to the enduring strength and growth of the Muslim Ummah, even in places where it is least expected.
A Beacon of Hope for Europe
The Ferryhouse Racecourse Ijtima 2025 was more than a religious program; it was a beacon of hope, unity, and revival for Muslims in Ireland and across Europe. It reaffirmed that even in regions where Muslims are few, the light of Islam continues to shine brightly when believers remain steadfast and committed.
May Allah accept the efforts of all who attended, bless the Muslims of Ireland, and allow the light of Islam to spread across every corner of the globe. Ameen.
