Pakistan Is Heaven

by Shabana Siddiqui

In the past few days, I have seen some YouTube videos. Some foreigners visited Pakistan and were amazed, rather than shocked, because Pakistan is not like what the international media has portrayed. Then I realized that the international media propagated a negative image of Pakistan in front of the whole world. People in Europe especially think of Pakistan as a conservative and fundamentalist nation. The West thinks that Pakistanis exploit their women . They are uneducated and unethical. You know what? These are all rumors.
Pakistan is indeed an Islamic country, and Islam is a peaceful religion, never allowing anyone to spoil someone’s life or personality, and never allowing brutal killings.
Islam commands us to be kind and tolerant toward non-Muslims. Islam teaches us to respect women. Islam is the only religion in the world that gives full rights to women, and in the same way, women in Pakistan are free and independent. Those who spread hatred against Islam and Pakistan are suffering from the disease called Islamophobia. They actually want to vanish the strong safety line of women under the protection of their legitimate guardian, their father, brother, or husband.

Pakistan has a variety of people with vibrant cultures and traditions. wherein all are harmonious under a flag. Majestic landscapes paint a canvas of beauty. In the heart of South Asia, Pakistan stands proud, as a mosaic of warmth and hospitality, with grace.
A country where blood relations are still alive.
A country where people are still calm, polite, humble, and kind-hearted. It can be called heaven on earth.
