Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh!

Assalamualaikum to today’s panel guests Adnan Rashid, Molana Sohail Bawa, Muhammad Imtiaz and Mr Declan, whom I just met.

I’m disappointed that this event has been targeted by certain members of the Ahmadi community trying to prevent it from happening.

But I pray to Allah that our conference will be successful as part of our humble efforts to promote the message of Khatm-e-Nabuwwat.

I would like to welcome all brothers and sisters to this beautiful event organised by former Ahmadis and our scholars to make this important day happen.

Many of you know me; I would like to introduce myself as a sister in Islam.

Many of you already know how my family and I left the Ahmadiyya jamaat roughly eight years ago.

I have given some interviews on social media and regularly share our experiences too.

Unfortunately, my journey was very painful. Reading Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s books — where he claims to be a prophet in a shadow-like sense (zilli buruzi), and even claims to be Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him — exposed the Ahmadis’ false narrative. It struck me deeply and opened my eyes.

Such claims are simply against our Islamic beliefs. Any person who believes that prophethood still continues is simply outside the pale of Islam.

There were other turning points as well that led us to leave the Jamaat. One of them was learning that Mirza Ghulam also claimed to be the Mahdi, the Mujaddid, and the Messiah — meaning Prophet Isa. This is simply impossible, as one person cannot claim to be three persons in one.

At this point, I started focusing on researching the actual Ahadis. Reading the sayings of the holy Prophet, peace be upon him, about Imam Mahdi and the return of Isa A.S. opened my heart and mind and helped me make the right decision.

I noticed that not even a single Hadith vindicates the Ahmadis’ claims. This amazed me, as I had never known about the authentic Hadiths in this regard. This was a shock for me.

I also focused on the Quran, which led me to take the first step to leave the Ahmadi movement and accept Islam along with my children.

In such circumstances, one has to face opposition. This comes in the form of a social boycott. Ahmadis who revert to Islam are often declared as murtad (apostate).

I personally know lots of families who left years ago, with each story being so painful to listen to. Many such brothers and sisters still have no contact with their families due to breakups, and many more severe things which I don’t find appropriate to explain today.

–– Finality of prophethood —

Returning to the main topic, let us be clear and set the record straight: The doctrine of Khatm-e-Nubuwwat, or the finality of prophethood, is one of the fundamental tenets of Islam. It is an honour for the entire Muslim Ummah. It is a defining distinction bestowed upon the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, our master Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.

The Quran says:

“Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the last of the prophets. And Allah has Knowledge of all things.” (33:40)

So, the finality of prophethood is not a political issue. It is a matter of our faith, identity, and the correct belief.

There are more than 10,000 Ahadith on Khatm-e-Nubuwwat.

But contrary to what the Ahadith narrate, Mirza says: “It is absolutely true that every human can excel and reach the highest level, even be greater than Muhammad.” (Al-Fazal, June 6, 1922 to July 17, 1923)

At one point he says: “I saw in my dream that I am God myself and I became certain of it; indeed, I am Him.” (Ruhani Khazain, Vol. 18, p. 381)

At another point he says: “I swear by God in whose Hand is my soul, that He is the One who sent me and He named me Nabi, a prophet, and He called me by the name of the promised Messiah.” (Ruhani Khazain, Vol. 22, p. 503)

In addition to these, Mirza also claimed to be the second coming of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.

Then, there are several quotes that I choose not to read here, as the blasphemy they contain will hurt your feelings. You may personally seek information about these references from Muslim scholars.

On the other hand, Mirza also denied the Islamic concept of Jihad, while the Quran considers Jihad to be an obligation upon the Muslim Ummah.

Against this backdrop, we must understand how Mirza was chosen by the British government to support the divide-and-conquer tactics among the common Muslims to create confusion.

So brothers and sisters, we must unite in defending the cause of Khatm-e-Nubuwwat, no matter what happens.

On a personal note, let me tell you, even today as I speak to you, I have been emotionally blackmailed and threatened with a complete breakdown of family relationships. But I stand here, firm in my faith, looking forward to attending the upcoming Khatm-e-Nubuwwat events, as the Quran demands that we defy the odds and observe patience.

Since leaving the Jamaat, I have been involved in community events, both physically and through social media, in the cause of Khatm-e-Nubuwwat. I vow that no matter what happens, we will use all available channels to assist our Ahmadi brothers and sisters and guide them to the true religion of Islam.

— Silence is a Crime —

Dear brothers and sisters, silence in the face of falsehood and oppression is a crime. We must carry on with our efforts to spread the truth, no matter how small these efforts are.

Finally, I would like to quickly share a beautiful event of Hazrat Zaid (RA), one of the companions of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.It is narrated that he accepted Islam while his mother didn’t. For the sake of his faith and belief, he sacrificed his relationship with his own mother. “If my mother had a hundred souls… I’d still never leave Islam,” he would say.

Then there is the unwavering faith of Saad bin Abi Waqqas (RA), another companion of the Prophet. When he accepted Islam, his beloved mother, whom he loved deeply, refused to eat or drink to force him to leave the religion. For three days, she went without food or water.” By Allah, O my mother,” he said. “Even if you had a hundred souls and I saw them leave one by one, I would not abandon this path.”

That’s what it means to hold on to your religion with love, firmness, and faith at all costs. I pray to Allah to give me a glimpse of such faith.
