Declan Henry, author of the forthcoming book, _Breaking the Silence: Thirty-Three Voices of Former Ahmadis,_ warmly invites former Ahmadis, current Ahmadis, those questioning their beliefs, and all who are searching for the truth to attend this historic conference. This promises to be an important and thought-provoking event.

”The Huddersfield Conference on 16th August, organised by former Ahmadis, is the first event of its kind ever to take place in the UK. As increasing numbers of people leave the Ahmadiyya movement, more are finding the courage to speak openly about why they left and the experiences they endured afterwards. Many describe experiences of pain, trauma, and mental and spiritual abuse. For the first time, a growing number are coming together to share their stories publicly and explain why they could no longer remain within the movement. Attendees will hear a range of first-hand accounts from former Ahmadis of different backgrounds and experiences, including individuals who have never previously spoken publicly about their journeys.

It is hoped that the Huddersfield conference will pave the way for an international conference of former Ahmadis in London in 2027, bringing together people from around the world to share their experiences and support one another. The time has come for former Ahmadis to speak out and no longer be silenced. They have a right to tell their stories. They have a right to be heard. Their experiences matter and deserve recognition.
