What if someone comes and tells me that those two people, I keep calling my parents throughout my life, are not my parents!! How will I react? Will I ask about any shreds of evidence? Or I would ask him to shut his mouth and deny him then and there only?? Of course, I would make him taste his own medicine! But why would I do so? Well, my faith in my parents would not let me think in any other direction!
Similar is the case of the Finality of Prophethood!! There is no chance of doubt!! Once you doubt, here you are doomed!! What would make you uncertain? Would you suspect those more than 100 verses of the Quran? There is no doubt in the Quran, as Allah has explicitly said at the start of the Quran:
“This is the Book! There is no doubt about it”. (2:2)
Or are you unsure about those 200 Ahadith of Rasool Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) about him being the seal of Prophethood?? The Ahadith of Rasool Allah is nothing but revelations from Allah subhaana wa ta’ala.
Nor does he speak of his whims. It is only a revelation sent down ˹to him˺. (53:3,4)
Sorry friend, if you have any uncertainty in the belief of the finality of the Prophethood, you have already lost your Iman.
Doubt and faith are quite contrary to each other. You cannot doubt and believe in one thing at the same time!
The ˹true˺ believers are only those who believe in Allah and His Messenger—never doubting (49:15)
In the time of Imam Abu Hanifa (80 A.H.-150 A.H.), a claimant of the Prophethood said,
‘Let me show you the proofs of my Prophethood”. The great Imam thereupon warned the people that if someone asks this man for the credentials of Prophethood, he shall become an apostate, for the Prophet of God (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has explicitly declared: No prophet will come after me”.
(Manaqib-Al-Imam-i-Azam Abi Hanifa, Ibn Ahmad al-Makki, Vol. I, p.161, published in Hyderabad, India, 1321 A.H.)
The evidence we gather or the proofs we have found are for the disbelievers who have lost their paths, not for the Muslims to clear their suspicions.
The tactics played by the followers of Mirza Ghulam Qadiani to destroy Iman make people uncertain about their stance on the Finality of Prophethood. They first try to confuse and then try to convince their beliefs!! We should have a strong belief in our doctrines so that no one gets a chance to create dubiety.
