IDEAS 2024: A New Era of Global Connections in Pakistan

IDEAS 2024, held from November 19 to 22 at the Karachi Expo Centre, was more than just a defense exhibition—it was a celebration of innovation, collaboration, and diplomacy.
This year’s event was especially significant, as it welcomed a high-profile British delegation for the first time, marking a new chapter in Pakistan-UK defense relations.

The British delegation’s presence showcased the growing importance of IDEAS as a platform for meaningful partnerships.
Alongside 350 delegations from 55 countries, including first-time participants like Iran and Italy, it was clear that the world is looking to Pakistan as a hub for collaboration in defense and technology.

Pakistan proudly displayed its advancements including the Haider Main Battle Tank, the Shahpar-III drone, and the Super Mushshak Aircraft—highlighting its ability to compete on the global stage.

IDEAS 2024 wasn’t just about defense—it was about building bridges and creating a shared vision for peace and security.
This year’s success sets a promising tone for what’s to come in future exhibitions.
