The American city of Minneapolis has approved mosques to broadcast the Muslim call to prayer.
Minneapolis Mayor JACOB FREY said :

“OUR MUSLIM COMMUNITY WILL HAVE THE ABILITY TO HEAR THE CALL TO PRAYER IN ADHAN 5 TIMES A DAY………THIS IS ABOUT INCLUSION,  PEACE AND FREEDOM OF RELIGION “

He said it is for the freedom of all religions from the church bells to the call to prayer.
