Education expands one’s knowledge, personality, skills and develops the attitude. The educational sector of Pakistan is still in the stages of development, but it has delivered more to its people. As Article 25-A of Constitution of Pakistan obligates the state to provide free and compulsory quality education to children of the age group 5 to 16 years (National Assembly of Pakistan, 1973). It portrays the devotion of the country for education to its subjects. Moreover, the country has given plethora of scholarships to the deserving students of the country. Currently, many of the students are benefitting from those scholarships. Pakistan is still trying to deliver its best to its people in educational sector.
Besides, the education system of Pakistan has been modernized which has made students much capable and they are contributing to the world. It can be gauged from the fact that Pakistani lecturer Dr Mubashir Husain Rehmani has been named in the world’s top 1% researchers in the field of computer sciences (Khalid, 2020). Another example is that of Zara Naeem, an ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) student from Lahore who secured highest marks in ACCA (Adil, 2021). It depicts the modernization of the educational system of Pakistan with the contemporary era. Along with that, the educational sector of the said country has provided a platform: up to date scientific and research laboratories, to the students to showcase their skills.
Furthermore, blackboard system for teaching is still intact in majority part of the country. This traditional system has been proved much effective in learning process. Besides that, the education system in Pakistan has established the bond between teachers and students which is durable and considered as strong as a family because of such friendly interaction between students and teachers; teachers deliver more accurate and students acquire more knowledge. “Classrooms decide the future of the nation”, the friendly environment in classroom between teacher and student groom’s student and helps in building the nation, while having the concept of brotherhood which is ingrained in their minds since their student life.
In conclusion, education in Pakistan has wide range of advantages but it needs advancement which Pakistan is acquiring and has been successful so far. Students are equipped with updated theoretical and practical knowledge which makes students and outperform other. Examples of such brilliant personalities are mentioned above. The student-teacher interaction has also contributed to the developments of educational sector. We can hope that the educational sector may develop more and outperform others.
