In the Old Testament of the Bible, there is a chapter called Ghazal-e-Ghazlat, Nasheed-e-Anashid, it is also attributed to Hazrat Sulayman (A.S.)

There is a prediction about the Holy Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) in this chapter. The words are:

”  My beloved is red and white

He is distinguished in ten thousand

  Its head is pure gold

Its locks are patched and black.”

(Ghazals of Ghazals Chapter 5 Verses 10 and 11)

See how the above words of this prophecy came true for the Holy Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) :

The Urdu translation of Shamail Tirmidhi explains:

The colour of the Holy Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) was white and reddish.

On the occasion of the conquest of Makkah, he (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) was accompanied by ten thousand Companions, Rizwanullah Ajmaeen.

On the question of Qatadah, Anas said:

The blessed hair of the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) was neither too tangled nor too loose but had a slight tangle and curls that reached the earlobes.

(Characters of the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)

Mahmadim is a Hebrew word that has been translated as Mohammad in Bible. Similarly, the Hebrew word el, or Eloah is used for Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala. These are pronounced and read with the respectful addition of Elohim. And the Hebrew dictionary says the same thing.

In the Hebrew Bible, the word “Muhammad” is still being used. But in the translation, Christianity made the unholy audacity that the word * Muhammad * has been changed to beloved. As you have seen in the first verse of this Gospel, many attempts have been made by the Christians to conceal this fact and at many other places in the Bible where the good news/prophecy of the Holy Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is found. There, the translation was distorted and edited. Despite all these distortions, Alhamdulillah, Lord of the worlds, the name of the Holy Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) still exists in the Hebrew text. By Allah’s blessings I have two copies of the Hebrew Bible.

Biography of the Holy Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)

 Episode 23.

Hafiz Abu Naeem narrates in his book “Dala’il al-Nabwa” quoting Abdul Rahman bin Abi Saeed that one day Abdul Rahman Abi Saeed was staying in Bani Ash’al. He was unaware of the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). The next day when he and some of his companions reached the place of Hannah in the tribe of Harb, they heard a Jewish scholar named Joshua saying, “I see that a prophet named Ahmed is about to be born in Makkah.”

On hearing this, a man from Bani Ash’al, Caliph ibn Tha’labah al-Ash’ali said to Joshua, “Are you not joking? What are the attributes of this prophet?”

Joshua said… “His appearance will be from the sanctuary… He will not be short or very tall… He will have red streaks in his eyes… He will have a turban on his head with his clothes  …”

When Caliph ibn Tha’labah al-Ash’ali returned to his tribe and uttered these words in the language of Joshua, the people of his tribe said in unison, “You speak like Joshua from Yathrib (Medina) who said the same what the Jews were saying yesterday.”

Moreover, Malik ibn Sanan narrates that he accidentally left his house on that day and went to the tribe of Banu Qurayzah (the Jewish tribe); and said,

“A red star has appeared in the sky and such a star appears only when a prophet is born somewhere… The prophet who is born today is named Ahmed which is the name of the last prophet; he will migrate and come here.”

Remember that there are prophecies in the religious books of all faiths about the arrival of the Holy Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). In the Holy Torah and the Gospel his name appears as “Ahmad”.

When a person later narrated these words of Zubair ibn Bata to the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, “If Zubair ibn Bata becomes a Muslim in his lifetime, his whole nation would believe him because his entire community follows him.”

Abu Naeem quotes some other trustworthy narrators and Zayd ibn Thabit as saying that the Jews of Banu Qurayzah and Banu Nudhir said that “the red star would rise only at the birth of the last prophet of the world. His name would be Ahmad and He will migrate and come to Yathrib (Madinah), we must obey him.”

But when the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) migrated from Makkah to Madinah, it was the Jews who were already living there who opposed him. However, they were well aware of all signs and predictions that were written in their religious books that their saviour would appear in Arab as the last Prophet. They were still waiting for the same Prophet to be born in  Palestine. They didn’t follow him just because of jealousy as to why the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) was born in bani Ismael and not in bani Israel. They not only turned away from their words but also deliberately persisted in their disbelief.
